Happy dances all around here at AWD Photography with the updates for Hamilton restrictions. We can now officially photograph outside again – hurrah! Please find the details for COVID-Safe photoshoots below.

WHERE CAN WE SHOOT?

Sessions must be conducted outside (no home sessions yet) and our location must be within 25km of your home. I have a location guide with various recommended parks + beaches for dog photoshoots, so together we can choose the best spot for your photoshoot.

WHAT ABOUT MASKS?

Participating in a professional photoshoot is considered a lawful excuse for removing your face masks, so if you’re keen to get in the photos with your dogs (I love creating natural family portraits!) then you can temporarily remove your mask while I’m photographing you.

I’ll be wearing a mask at all times.

COVID-SAFE SESSIONS

BEFORE OUR SESSION
Please do not attend your session if you or your family have any COVID symptoms or if you are awaiting results of a COVID test. We can easily reschedule your session for another time and date that suits you.

On a similar note, I will be postponing sessions myself if I’m feeling unwell – gone are those days of battling through a cold! I appreciate everyone’s understanding with this.

DURING OUR SESSION

• Hand Sanitizer will be accessible for you throughout our session

• All sessions are located outside

• Longer leashes will be used to allow 2m distance between myself and clients

• All camera equipment is disinfected between sessions

• I’ll be wearing a face mask at all times

AFTER OUR SESSION
All “Session Reveals” (where we look through the finished images and choose your artwork) are now conducted online, over Zoom. Rather than clients viewing products in person, I’ll be bringing samples to the sessions (these will be wiped down between sessions).

Artwork orders will be available for contactless pick-up, or courier delivery.
